Framestore New York had a packed house of animators due to a bunch of Geico spots and a certain Netflix show. To have that many animators together in one spot from back in the day and fresh out of college was some sort of vfx family reunion.

My role on Geico was prETT...ty small. Considering how many animators we had and it was my first time with the Gecko, it was a good chance for me to ease in to the campaign.
The team has really systematized the Gecko since they've worked with him so many years -- specifically loved the tool to easily set reference footage in the camera and move it around (as the show highly relies on acting reference).
I assume it's a given, but I love when the spot you work on gets laughs. No Talking is super funny.

^^ For any young animator who happens upon this, I've been animating for 22+ years and was given the two TINY shots where he barely appears on the table. ;)
